Lari Technical and Vocational College (Lari TVC) is a public tertiary institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training (SDTVET). The College was established to provide training in line with the Government’s commitment to equipping youth with practical skills for employment and self-reliance.
The College officially began operations in September 2019, admitting its pioneer trainees in Food Processing Technology, Agriculture, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as licensed by the TVET Authority. Since then, Lari TVC has steadily expanded its academic scope, introducing additional programmes and strengthening its facilities to meet the evolving needs of industry and the community.
Strategically located in a serene environment at Githirioni, Lari Constituency (Lari Sub-County), along the Kimende–Githunguri road, the College provides an ideal atmosphere for learning, innovation, and hands-on training.
Lari TVC continues to grow as a hub of technical and vocational excellence, nurturing skilled, innovative, and entrepreneurial graduates who contribute to national development and the socio-economic transformation of the local community.
